Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Managing Director who is highly motivated, imaginative and business focused to lead, develop and enhance services within our Diggory Division.
Diggory is one of three Divisions in the Trust which comprise the operational delivery of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
The post holder will work closely and be jointly accountable with the Divisional Medical Director and the Divisional Director of Nursing for the safety, performance and quality of the Divisional portfolio and covers the full range of community and mental health services, Health in Justice, Addictions, Sexual Health and HIV and specialist dental services.

The new Director will build on the very strong relationships within the division, the Trust and with our external partners. The post offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. Being accountable for services the size of a small Trust and working with a Divisional Board the role offers a stepping stone for any aspirant Executive. Our previous 4 Managing Directors have all gone onto Executive roles.
A commitment fully involving service users and carers is an essential part of the role.
We are looking for someone who embodies our values of compassion, respect, empowerment and partnership, has a passion for operational delivery, is a visible and approachable leader and has excellent business acumen. A proven track record of working at a senior management level, transforming services, working well with commissioners, local authorities and staff is essential. There is an explicit expectation the Managing Director spend a minimum of 2 days working in Milton Keynes with the remaining time spent at other locations as dictated by the needs of the role and service portfolio.
