Our Hub operates Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. There is an opportunity to tailor the working pattern to suit you and your lifestyle needs with someflexible working available in a team that is dynamic and transforming the way we offer support to people in Westminster with mental health challenges.

The North Westminster Community Mental Health Hub, based in Woodfield Road is looking for a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse who is looking to make a difference whilst working in an environment that promotes staff development and training opportunities.

CNWL is passionate about developing its own staff, driving them to go on to become more established practitioners and this post gives you the room to do so!

There are two Community Mental Health Hubs in Westminster, one North and one in the South, each is aligned to two local Primary Care Networks (PCN). Working in this way allows each Hub to have a core structure and function to meet the needs of the local population, aligned with our primary care colleagues . This position is to work within our North Westminster Hub.

Main duties of the job

To be you and to do what you do best in the job you love!

The successful applicant will take the lead of a caseload of patients and be at the forefront of their care. You will also be expected to work in collaboration with the Operational Team Manager, Clinical Leads/Senior Practitioners and to have close working relationships with the Inpatient Service and Home Treatment Team.

To help support you with the abovewe offer a robust induction and tailored training will be given and encouraged.   • Current Professional Qualification in mental health nursing Registration must be live with professional body NMC Evidence of post registration training and CPD.

Desirable

  • Training in Psychosocial Interventions or Thorn Family Therapy/Work training; Other relevant training, e.g. substance misuse

Experience

Essential

  • Significant post-registration experience Experience of working in multidisciplinary mental health team with clients with acute/severe and enduring mental health problems

Desirable

  • Work with clients with acute/severe and enduring mental health problems who are homeless/rootless Work with people experiencing mental health crisis. Supervision of students and junior staff. Audit and research; Teaching; Working with people who use substances
