Job summary

Working with the Chief Clinical Information Officer network, the role will provide digital health leadership and help drive understanding and adoption of technology systems and the use of data within our operational workforce.

Main duties of the job

The role will identify and prioritise the opportunities for standardisation of clinical care and clinical decision support and champion the role of clinical informatics as an enabler of safe and effective care. The Head of Digital Nursing will also be a lead voice in the coordination of clinical safety reviews for healthcare technologies, ensuring effective clinical risk management is conducted.

  • To provide strategic and professional leadership on the ongoing development of health informatics. Supporting changes in working practice, digital system implementation and workforce digitisation to enable this
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of the Electronic Health Record
  • Partner in the leadership of digital health, including but not limited to, analytics, decision support, and workflow support in service of the quality and patient safety goals of the organisation
