Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Hillingdon for highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to join our Older Adult Community Mental Health Service as a Duty Worker.
The OA CMHT works with older adults covering the Hillingdon borough and the site is at The Woodland Centre; based beside The Hillingdon Hospital.
We are a service user led service and work with older adults that have mental health issues and require support with additional physical health needs.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Duty worker is to triage and complete assessment of new referrals into the teams, answering incoming duty queries, carrying out risk reviews and feeding back to the wider MDT with recommendations based on service user need.
The OACMHT is a multidisciplinary team, comprising of nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers. The team is supported by good administrative systems and offers an excellent working environment.
The team has good links with local statutory and non-statutory services and works closely with our colleagues within acute mental health inpatients.
The post is for 37.5 hours a week and the OACMHT working hours are Mon-Friday 9am-5pm.
