Do you want to work in Central London and support the delivery of Community Services, where your work as our Business manager will ensure patients maintain or regain their health and independence at home.
The Community Independence Service (CIS) is an intermediate care service providing advanced short-term nursing care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and care to people with immediate health or functional needs, who would otherwise require an admission to hospital or be unsafe at home. The service runs 7 days a week in the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster.
As our Business manager you will be based with our teams and support the services on site. You will provide day-to-day comprehensive business management to the service, in conjunction with the Service Lead, Clinical Lead and Tri-Borough Leads. You will support in the areas of operations, performance, governance, workforce and finance and may take lead for specific business developments and projects.

Main duties of the job
- To represent the CIS Business management agenda at relevant meetings
- To support the Senior Management Team with the strategic and operational direction and development of the service
- To support development and improvement initiatives using a QI approach
- Overseeing the implementation of service procedures as well as supporting to increase service productivity, meeting service demands while maintaining relationships
- The role requires the post holder to support efficient, effective and safe services as well as providing value for money in the planning of service delivery
- To support the management of the service budget and to remain within agreed financial envelope in order to prevent overspend and deliver cost improvement plan targets.

The post holder will provide day-to-day comprehensive business management to the service, in conjunction with the Service Lead, Clinical Lead and Tri-Borough Leads. They will work closely with all relevant stakeholders, engage with external working groups and assist leads to deliver the objectives of the service and providing comprehensive business management to the service.
