Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and vibrant leader with a positive attitude towards recovery and mental health rehabilitation to lead our workforce and dynamic patient group at Cherrywood using the recovery pathways.
Cherrywood Mental Health Rehabilitation Unitprovides short-term (up to one year) residential rehabilitation to help service users return to independent living.
The unit has 7 beds and enables people with severe and complex mental health problems to gain or regain the confidence and skills in everyday activities which will enable them to fulfil their potential for recovery and independence.
A range of therapeutic activities are available both in groups and as individuals and support is also given to families through our family support service.
The unit works closely with other Community and Inpatient Services within Milton Keynes.
Main duties of the job
You will ensure a quality and efficient service operates within the unit where high standards of nursing care and statutory requirements are adhered to. You will work alongside other agencies to oversee the assessment and treatment of inpatients and provide leadership and clinical support to staff.
