The Surrey Integrated Sexual Health & HIV Services at Woking Clinic is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work and lead effectively a multidisciplinary team within an innovative sexual and reproductive health service.We require an individual who is forward thinking, well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure that they provide a gold standard patient focused service and will be required to:
- Manage and lead a multi-disciplinary Team
- Have the necessary clinical skills to deliver nurse led sexual health clinics providinga high standard of care to symptomatic patients
- Deliver all forms of contraception including Intrauterine Contraception and Sub-dermal implants
- Have the ability to manage vulnerable patients
- Mentor and support other nurses and Health Care Support Workers within theservice
- Be a Nurse prescriber or willing to train
The post is full-time (37.5hrs) but consideration will be given to suitable candidates who wish to work part-time with a minimum of 30 hrs per week.

Leadership and Management.
- To manage and lead the nursing team and healthcare support workers (HCSWs) within the clinic, ensuring the team receive adequate support and development
- Perform appraisal and performance review enabling nursing team to strengthen their own practice
- To ensure that mandatory training is completed for your reports
- To ensure the provision of clinical supervision for all nursing staff and HCSWs in the team
- To utilise management supervision offered by the Service Manager
- To continue to develop the nurses role and nursing contribution toward the improvement in patient care pathways and service provision

- When trained as a nurse independent prescriber/or to utilise PGDs, prescribes/supplies safely where there is a clinical need within her/his sphere of

- To provide nurse led consultations for patients attending for Sexual Health and promote LARC methods of
