Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available to work as a Health and Wellbeing Community Connector in the Lakes Estate in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. As part of our integrated approach in Milton Keynes mental health services we are looking to recruit a Health and Wellbeing Community Connector who will work jointly with members of the Lakes Estate to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work with a team of staff from variety of backgrounds including qualified nurses, social workers, therapists, GPs, social prescribers and link workers, other community connectors and specialist roles. The post holder will work very closely with colleagues in the Local Authority including the community champions, community organisations and voluntary sector colleagues.
The post-holder will engage in outreach tasks including face to face activities with the local community and support the co-production of new interventions and wellbeing supports tailored to the community's needs.
We are looking for Community Connector who lives and understands the local area (Lakes Estate, Bletchley), have strong links with this community and could share information and advice around mental health and wellbeing. Please make this clear in your application.

They will also behave in a professional manner; both as representatives of CNWL and that of wider stakeholders and representatives.
