You will require experience of managing multidisciplinary teams across organisational boundaries and have passion for innovation, education and collaborative working.

Main duties of the job
In this pivotal role, you will:
Support the Divisions in delivering high standards of patient care, with a focus on patient safety and quality.
Lead the developments and implementation of innovative strategies to improve patient care standards, including the Fundamentals of Care.
Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, research and innovation.
Welcome and prepare our new nursing colleagues to the Trust ensuring they are prepared for practice.
Align local initiatives with national priorities and contribute to the Trust's strategic direction.
Provide effective leadership and direct line management to the Corporate Nurse Team, Chaplaincy Services and Bereavement Services.
Ensure clinical environments meet national standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage resources within agreed budgets.
Collaborate across divisions and work cross bay to support integrated care delivery.
Champion the NHS Long Term Plan and contribute to the Corporate Nursing Agenda.
Work closely with he wider multi-disciplinary team, including governance, risk management and ICS Partners.
About us
We operatefrom three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, andUlverstonCommunity Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies,daycase and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
