Job summary
The Endoscopy department is seeking a motivated and driven Endoscopy admin manager for the Endoscopy booking team based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Westmorland General Hospital and Furness General Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide a wide-ranging managerial support to include the supervision and line management of the Endoscopy Booking team.
The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The post holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.

Main duties of the job
To line-manage the administrative staff within the Endoscopy Departments.
Working cross bay, managing teams remotely and with the ability travel on site as required.
Review and monitor administrative processes to identify changes so efficiency and effectiveness can be improved.
Responsible for delivery of service improvement within the administration teams.
Record and report monthly waiting times, reporting change in capacity or demand.
To chair daily and weekly Endoscopy Scheduling Meeting/Endoscopy Operational & Performance Meeting
About us
We operatefrom three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, andUlverstonCommunity Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies,daycase and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
