This post is to work in Ward 37
We are looking for another Environmental Support Worker at The James Cook University Hospital in order to maintain a high quality clean safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team and be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the ward area.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning to patient bed areas and side rooms, transferring patients from base wards to speciality wards or to departments for diagnostic procedures and ensuring minor maintenance issues are reported together with other specified tasks to meet the individual patient needs as determined by the ward sister/manager.
