Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiology porter to join our team within the Radiology departments at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. There may be a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites and the role will incorporate a 7 day working pattern with shifts ranging between the hours of 7am-10pm.

Main duties of the job

Main duties:

To be responsible for the transport of patients, and hospital equipment between the wards and departments.
To assist in the provision of a high quality, courteous service to the patients, wards and departments of the Hospital.
To maintain high standards of patient care.
To liaise with radiological, nursing and clerical staff within the department in order to provide a seamless service.
To maintain good and effective working relationships with other departments and service providers throughout the Trust.
