Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiology porter to join our team within the Radiology departments at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. There may be a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites and the role will incorporate a 7 day working pattern with shifts ranging between the hours of 7am-10pm.

Main duties of the job

Main duties:

  • To be responsible for the transport of patients, and hospital equipment between the wards and departments.
  • To assist in the provision of a high quality, courteous service to the patients, wards and departments of the Hospital.
  • To maintain high standards of patient care.
  • To liaise with radiological, nursing and clerical staff within the department in order to provide a seamless service.
  • To maintain good and effective working relationships with other departments and service providers throughout the Trust.
