Senior Specialist Physiotherapist (MSK Service)

Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our MSK Team. Your role will be as a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist working both in MSK triage clinics (Lower limb) and within the Physiotherapy Gym at the Friarage Hospital. You will work closely with Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, other Senior Specialists, Clinical Lead Community Outpatient Physiotherapy and the Service Lead for Musculoskeletal.

The post holder will be expected to have substantial experience in the acute musculoskeletal field and to have relevant post graduate study at Masters level.

This post offers development in clinical and leadership skills. We have a comprehensive training programme and our staff are encouraged and supported in their CPD through workshops and clinical supervision. There is also an expectation to actively participate in audit and research

Main duties of the job

To work in the lower limb MSK triage service to provide an expert standard of assessment to complex MSK referrals under the supervision of the lower limb Advanced Practice Physiotherapists

To provide clinical leadership in the Physiotherapy Gym to develop and deliver an efficient and effective musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within the framework of clinical governance.
