Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our specialist musculoskeletal team. We are looking to recruit an experienced Physiotherapist to join our specialist musculoskeletal rotations.
Rotations are currently nine months in duration and provide experience across the following areas -
Rheumatology
Orthopaedics - The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) & Friarage Hospital (FHN). Working on Orthopaedics is likely to include 12noon-8pm shifts.
Hands
Musculoskeletal Outpatients at JCUH
Pain Clinic
Community Out-patient venues including One Life, Guisborough Primary Care Hospital (GPCH), East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital (ECPCH), Redcar Primary Care Hospital (RPCH) & FHN.
Senior specialists, ESPs, clinical and operational leaders are always available to provide clinical support and supervision for each rotation. As a Senior Physiotherapist you will be encouraged to develop your skills and to supervise assistants and more junior staff and be involved in the clinical education of students.
Depending on the interest in this post we may consider applications from people who may not have significant musculoskeletal experience but are willing to develop in this area. In this scenario Annex 21 of AFC would apply.
Main duties of the job
We have a comprehensive In-Service Training Programme and staff are encouraged and supported in their continuous professional development.
This post is suitable for Physiotherapists with relevant postgraduate experience and an interest to further develop their skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
