Clinical / Integrated Support Worker Higher Level (Thirsk Community)

37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker (Higher Level) to support the Thirsk Community Nursing Team based at Thirsk Health Centre YO7 1LG.

There is an expectation, at times to cover service need, the candidate may be asked to work to support another community nursing team within Hambleton & Richmondshire/MRC locality.

Currently our core service hours are between 0800 - 1800 Monday - Sunday however this is currently under review and potentially our future working hours will be between 0800 hours - 2000 hours.

Successful candidates will be experienced in working in a health care setting however community experience would be an advantage and candidates must have:

  • Numeracy and Literacy Level 2
  • Care certificate (willing to work towards if already holdsNVQ level 3)
  • Level 3 vocational qualificationorShort courses and completion of competency workbookequivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical careduties and/or Equivalent knowledge and experience in arange of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;- Theoretical knowledge- Experience of a range of care and related procedures.- clinical observations- knowledge of relevant legislation

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and be able to work on their own and as part of the team.

Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
