If you are,South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity of a clinical lead post within Clinical Service Unit 10 - Community and Neighbourhood Health services coveringHambleton & Richmondshire locality.
We are undergoing a significant programme of radical transformation within community services, and we have a great opportunity for a clinical lead to provide leadership to the teams within your area of responsibility, working collaboratively with the Clinical Matron and General Manager.
You will provide assurance of safety, quality and the overall patient experience as well as ensuring the effective day to day management of nursing in your area to deliver key quality, performance, and financial plans, to achieve service and standards improvements.

Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will hold 24 hour responsibility for the clinical area with support from theClinical Matron and General Manager. They will ensure that they lead and clinically managethe area so that safe, high quality, evidence based nursing care is delivered to patients whilstrespecting and involving families and carers as partners in care.
This post includes both operational and clinical responsibilities with the post holder spendinga percentage of their working week (10% - 50%) providing visible and hands on clinical careto patients whilst working closely within the attached primary care network (PCN) to lead andprovide coordinated care through integrated teams.
The post holder will have responsibility for leading and managing the community nursingworkforce and will work in conjunction with the senior management team and the PCN tomanage the budget for the area to ensure the best use of resources.

After you complete these six and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house and externally provided courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
