Job summary
The Leadership and Organisation Development (OD) team at University Hospitals Tees aims to support the Group to develop and nurture a culture of compassionate leadership, safety andcontinuous quality improvement,where we behave with respect, support and collaboration.
The Culture and OD Practitioner is a key member of a highly skilled internal consultancy team responsible for planning, designing, delivering and evaluating a range of OD interventions to Group members. This includes expert training, cultural and coaching support to colleagues from mixed professional backgrounds at all levels across University Hospitals Tees to support organisational culture, restorative practice and the EDI agenda. They will also contribute to and deliver our award-winning educational programme to a range of stakeholders across the Group and beyond.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be required to:
Lead and deliver specific areas of leadership, improvement and OD training, including compassionate leadership, continuous quality improvement, civility and human factors and applied behavioural science
Maintain a portfolio of OD projects within the team's internal consultancy programme, including scoping, delivering and evaluating their own and others' activity
Source, promote and appropriately apply a range of culture and OD opportunities and solutions, particularly acting as subject matter expert in culture and OD
Track emergent and strategic development trends in relation to culture and OD, ensuring that our local provision is fit for purpose across a diverse hospital group model and continually developing skills within team development, coaching and mentoring
Provide leadership, managerial support, facilitation and ongoing service development to direct reports, colleagues, peers and other clients
Ensure all resources, planning and delivery schedules are in place to deliver, evaluate and report impact assessment for service assurance
Support the development of an inclusive, restorative just and learning culture
Line manage the aligned Leadership and Improvement Facilitator
Deputise for the Senior Culture and OD Consultant when required
