Job summary
18 Hours per week - 3 x 6 hour shifts
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Phlebotomist who will support the Community Nursing teams in the Hambleton and Richmondshire locality, predominately working within the Hambleton area.
Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of care to patients within their own homes, as part of the integrated community nursing service the post holder will contribute to the admission avoidance agenda by providing high quality care to patients.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out designated work, much of which will involve direct patient care. This care will be delegated by trained staff and the post-holder will be expected to work under the indirect supervision of trained staff. The post holder will work in a person-centred way to achieve clear outcomes and adhere to trust and team objectives.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across 7 days a week, ensuring the 8am-6pm service is covered, to meet the changing needs of the service, which may include working across the Hambleton and Richmondshire , Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland area.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, able to travel independently across a large rural geographical area and be able to work on their own and as part of the team.
