Job summary

Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the support and delivery of local and national clinical audits within the Cardiothoracic Services Directorates (Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia)
- Providing data analysis and reporting on collected audit data for internal and external requests by management and clinicians in line with the Trust Information policy
- Support the Service Manager in the delivery of the governance agenda within the Cardiothoracic Services Directorate
- Support the Service Manager and clinicians by providing data on performance, activity and outcomes for appropriate regular or ad hoc internal or external information requests
- Lead the Cardiothoracic Audit Team to ensure excellence in audit support for the Cardiothoracic Services Directorate
- Provide team management for members of the Cardiothoracic Audit Team alongside the Cardiothoracic Audit Lead Nurse
