We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic nurses to join our team on Ward 29 & Cardio Monitored Bay
We are a36 bedded acute cardiology ward at James Cook University Hospital. Ward 29 has 2 areas, 27 beds on the main cardiology ward and a 9 bedded Cardio monitored Bay, staff will be expected to rotate between the two areas.
Collaboratively utilising our skills and competencies symbiotically for patient benefit, assuming complementary roles sharing responsibility for problem-solving and making decisions to formulate and carry out plans for patient care.
Main duties of the job
The prime focus of this role is to deliver a high standard of patient focused care
Planning and implementing patient care
Pre and post procedure care
Medicines management
ECG and cardiac monitoring
Wound care management
Venepuncture
Cannulation
Catheterisation
