Job summary
We are looking to appoint to a Cancer Pathway Coordinator within Cancer Performance
The post will support the Cancer and Access Performance Officer and join the current team of Cancer Care Pathway Coordinators in the tracking of cancer patients through their pathway
To be successful in this role, the Candidates require a good understanding of the cancer pathways and the national targets. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work under pressure whilst adhering to deadlines and have the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within a team based environment
Main duties of the job
Previous NHS experience and working within a cancer setting is essential
You will be a member of a small, expert performance management team within the trust supporting the day to day functions of corporate performance teams within South Tees NHS Trust
The post holder is responsible for providing support corporate
performance management teams by:
Supporting with data input across the corporate performance management teams
Supporting all aspects of data quality ensuring accuracy for cancer waiting time targets. This will support in preparation of MDT documentation
Assisting with the monitoring and collection of data for audit
General administrative support for the performance team
Housekeeping of SOPs and version management.
