Cardiothoracic ITU has an opportunity for further development in management and leadership in the role of a Band 6 Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse.
Main duties of the job
You will be an integral part of the leadership team, possess problem solving and analytical decision making skills, manage staffing issues and bed utilisation throughout the division. the post holder will have excellent communication skills coordinating operational activities during a shift span on a frequent occasions with senior sister support.
The role epitomises a level of experience and expertise which allows the facilitation of good; evidence based practice, ensuring high standards of quality patient care, supporting staff development through teaching and assessing and service development.
