Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Renal Dialysis Unit; the post will be rotational over The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) and Friarage Hospital, Northallerton (FHN) sites. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 5 Nurse to support our Renal Dialysis Unit.

The Renal Dialysis Unit provides assessment care and support for our patients, in patients and critical care patients requiring Haemodialysis. The successful candidate will be required to be part of an on call rota to provide haemodialysis out of hours.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will undertake a range of duties to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of renal treatments/sessions, working closely with the lead Consultants. There will be close liaison with other nurse specialists, Consultants, GPs and community staff.

We are inviting highly motivated and dynamic registered nurses with excellent communication/interpersonal skills, with a full nursing degree qualification.
