We have an exciting opportunity for 2 individual's to be The Urgent Care Practitioner Department Lead at JCUH UTC (The James Cook University Hospital and RPCH (Redcar Primary Care) UTC.
Our urgent care services provide patient care for those with minor injuries and illnesses. Staff from North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, local GP federation Hartlepool and Stockton Health (H&SH) and the North East Ambulance Service work in alliance to provide the services at Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Redcar.
The service is for urgent needs only - giving treatment for a range of minor injuries and illnesses. There are centres - being open 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, located at:
- The James Cook University Hospital
- Redcar Primary Care Hospital (open 8am until midnight)
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a leader who has experience working in the specialty who is enthusiastic and highly motivated and who can demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate staff.
You will be a team player and display good communication and organisational skills and have the ability to develop your clinical management experience. You will have a positive can do attitude and always strive for the best for your patients and nursing colleagues.
The team on the ward are hardworking and committed to providing a high standard of care. We provide a professional but fun atmosphere with good peer support.
We aim to provide safe effective care that exceeds the expectations of our patients and the public and we are looking for an experienced nurse who embraces this.
