Job summary

We have an exciting secondment opportunity for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic person to come work within and lead our administration team in a role that will need an understanding of waiting lists, coding and data analysis along with line management skills.

This post requires someone with first hand experience and knowledge of the cardiology booking systems used within the department.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

You will be an key member of the team providing leadership and support, you will be responsible for the coordination of the day to day waiting lists for all CIU clinics, ensuring optimum clinic utilisation, minimum DNA levels and cancellations, coding validation for all diagnostics.

You will be responsible for the managing of department clinic databases and information systems to record and report important data for a number of different sources.

Provide support, guidance and line management to the CIU administration team. You will also offer support to the administration team in Cardiology outpatient department and the Friarage Cardiology Department

  • oNVQ Level 3 Supervisory /Management/ Business administration qualification or equivalent or significant recent leadership management experience .
  • oMaths and English GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above)
  • oSignificant experience in Office Administration

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration (or equivalent) Recruitment and retention Training

Experience

  • oDealing with people to maintain a high level of customer care.
  • oExtensive knowledge of working to senior manager level.
