Job summary

Senior Costing Accountant

An exciting opportunity to lead on Patient Level Costing within the Finance Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has become available.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is enthusiastic aboutthe benefits that Patient Level Costing can have to patients, integrated care system pathways and financial sustainability.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Trusts Patient Level Costing Information System (PLICS).

Ensuring that financial processes and systems are maintained to provide regular and robust service line reporting across the organisation, as well as meeting external reporting requirements in respect of National Cost Collection returns.

In addition the post-holder will

Provide senior support to the development of complex business cases.

Help drive organisational change through support to productivity and transformation workstreams.

Support the wider Finance team with expert knowledge of NHS costing and use of cost information.
