Job summary
Working closely with the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager, the post holder will assist in the delivery of employee health and wellbeing for the organisation in line with the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the NHS People Plan and NHS People Promise. To work in partnership with HR, key stakeholders, and in partnership with Trade Unions to develop the capacity and capability of staff to focus upon the importance of wellbeing and associated requirements and improvements within their areas of responsibility.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for delivery of wellbeing activities working closely with key stakeholders in the organisation and for the day to day running and maintenance of the wellbeing initiatives in the R-hubs.
The post holder will also be responsible for coordinating and achieving the ongoing award levels for the Better Health at Work Award.
Responsible for delivery of the annual wellbeing calendar of campaigns in line with the People Plan and Health and Wellbeing.
Establishing effective working relationships with all staff accessing wellbeing support and support to the Health and Wellbeing Department.
Line Management/daily supervision duties for the health and wellbeing technician.
Developing and co ordinating wellbeing training according to the needs of the organisation.
To undertake any other duties as required in support of the wellbeing team which do not exceed the scope of this post.
