Based in a busy office environment, this is an opportunity to work with the patient access team. You will be providing a comprehensive service dealing with all requests for the release of information in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations.

Main duties of the job

Our ideal person will need computer skills, be numerate and have a good standard of literacy. You must be prepared to work as a supportive and committed team member and display an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude to ensure our deadlines are achieved. The workload is busy and you have to be able to work with speed and accuracy at all times.

  • GCSE's A-C or equivalent qualification or experience
  • NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience

Knowledge

Essential

  • Demonstrate ability to develop knowledge of hospital layout and manual handling which will be acquired through on the job instruction.
  • Ability to record/ document information clearly in line with policy and procedure.
