Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work within the multidisciplinary team delivering high quality care to patients visiting the department Monday to Friday.

You will be expected to act as a positive role model to junior staff and Students, demonstrating an active interest in the development of the department and working towards maintaining and improving the standards of care. We pride ourselves on delivering high standards of care and you will need to demonstrate how you will ensure this through your application and as part of the interview process.

About us

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.

  • oGCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

Experience

  • oExperience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • oBe able to demonstrate ability to work in the area for which an application is made

Desirable

  • oExperience of health coaching and promoting independent living
  • oPrevious experience of working within an acute health / healthcare setting
