Job summary

Ward 5 is a general elective/emergency surgical ward. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our amazing team. Ward 5 have achieved a gold STACQ status and strive to give our patients the best possible care to ensure patients have a positive experience whilst in hospital.

We cover multiple specialities from ENT, Max fax, gynaecology, urology, general surgery, upper GI, Breast and endocrine. We are fast paced working environment predominantly short stay up to 72 hours.

Main duties of the job

To provide hydration and nutritional support on the ward. To assist any patients which may need help with their nutrition and hydration and to promote the importance of nutrition and hydration. Duties will include ensuring nutritional supplement stock is up to date and checked, to complete MUST and nutritional and hydration assessments on patients.
