MTI FELLOW IN UROLOGY
Medical Training Initiative Fellow (ST3-ST5 Level) in Urology
Applicants are invited for the above post as a Fellow in Urology (Registrar level) based at the James Cook University Hospital for 24 months.This post has been prospectively approved as International fellows under the Medical Training Initiative scheme sponsored by the AoMRC and Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSE) and offer significant clinical, educational and research opportunities. You will be supported to sit postgraduate examinations such as FRCS Urology.
Main duties of the job
The single site development has made The James Cook University Hospital one of the largest teaching hospitals in the North of England and is a Major Trauma Centre. It acts as the regional referral centre for critical care, particularly for renal support, major trauma, spinal injuries, neurocritical care and vascular surgery. The hospital is a major trauma centre and has it's own helipad.
