Job summary

We are looking for a health care assistant to work in our busy operating theatre department. The James Cook University Hospital has 19 theatres in the main operating department, with a 10 bed recovery suite. In addition to main theatres there is a Surgical Day Unit which has a 23 hour male and female ward and 3 day surgery operating theatres.

Main duties of the job

This vacancy is working in rotation within the Trauma and Orthopaedic TheatresThe department is committed to staff development and offers a good competency based training package. As the main tertiary centre within Tees Valley, candidates will have the opportunity to develop their theatre skills in an exciting multi-speciality environment.
