Job summary
18.75 Hours per week
To provide assistance to the running of The Combined Physical & Psychological Programme (CPPP) program on a daily basis, including assistance during exercise based sessions with the physiotherapist.
Support and interaction with patients will be required to promote a relaxed and open atmosphere. To provide administration support to the CPPP manager.
Main duties of the job
The CPPP assistant is responsible for providing general support to the CPPP manager to ensure smooth running of the programme. This will involve working closely with the CPPP programme manager (physiotherapist) and the multidisciplinary team who provide input into the programme.
Tasks will include:
- Entering outcome data (paper questionnaires) onto a database system
- Administrative support for the CPPP, managing this workload in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide assistance to physiotherapy/gym/ activity sessions
- Assisting in the day to day running of the CPPP
- Being a point of contact for patients attending the CPPP
The hours for this post are annualised so will need a degree of flexibility to meet service needs.

The Combined Physical and Psychological programme (CPPP) sits within this team, delivering a 100 hour residential programme to patients with ongoing pain at a local hotel.
