Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology departments at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. There are opportunities for Band 5 plain film radiographer to join our expert teams within the radiology department. The department includes the provision of plain film, A&E, dental (including cone beam CT) and theatre services as well as specialist modalities, including US, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy/interventional radiology.
The Imaging service is dedicated in facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. There are more than 30 Advanced Practitioners within the service, with specialist experience in fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and plain film radiographer reporting.
Main duties of the job
South Tees Hospitals is the largest hospital trust in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals. The Trust is a designated regional major trauma centre with a 24-hour acute admissions unit and specialised services in cancer, neurosciences, vascular surgery, spinal injuries, cardiology and renal medicine.
