37.5 Hours per week (Permanent)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NMC Registered/ODP dynamic and energetic individual to join our highly motivated, warm, welcoming and supportive team of healthcare professionals in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
The labs working hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday with the provision of an on-call service covering nights and weekends 365 days a year in a fast evolving critical care area.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be supported within their 15 week supernumerary training and then will take part in the on call rota once in house training is complete and competencies gained at approximately 4 months. You must be on site within 30 minutes when called out from home.
We are a leading innovative regional centre caring for patients with heart disease, offering a full interventional cardiology service to the population of Teesside, North Yorkshire, Durham and Cumbria. We have four Cardiac Catheter Laboratories where the successful candidate will assist in performing angiography, angioplasty, TAVI, electrophysiology studies and implantation of pacing devices.
The post holder must be motivated and have excellent communication skills.
