Specialist Clinical Physiologist - Neurophysiology
This is a band 5/6 position depending on qualification and experience in Neurophysiology.
Pay range: 27,055 - 40,588 (Band 5/6)
PTP/STP candidates currently undertaking training will be considered.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and dynamic team at James Cook University Hospital as a band 5/6 (depending on experience) to deliver Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Sleep services in the Middlesbrough/Tees Valley area.
The department of Neurophysiology is responsible for providing a comprehensive, highly specialist clinical diagnostic service to patients of all ages from a range of specialities suffering from a wide range of medical disorders including those which may be neurological and/or psychiatric in nature.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be involved in all aspects of clinical Neurophysiology, including Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Sleep studies including Polysomnography (PSG) and Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MLST).
You will be primarily working in our friendly and dynamic department alongside 1 Principal Clinical Neurophysiologist, 1 Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist, 4 Specialised Clinical Physiologists, 2 Apprentice Clinical Physiologist, 3 Consultant Neurophysiologists and an Administration Team. You will be part of a team delivering high quality, patient centered care.
