Job summary

This role is offered on a fixed term/secondment basis for 12 months. The hours are part-time, 30 hours per week.

We are seeking a Receptionist to join our busy but friendly team to work at Stroud General Hospital & The Vale Community Hospital, Dursley.

The post holder will be apart of the Reception team in accordance with Trust based policies and values.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality patient care and the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the Trust values and meet the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. You will be computer literate, have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate the following

Possess the ability to prioritize their own workload within a tight deadline together with their co-workers.

Cope well under pressure

Work well within a team and on their own.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Have good organizational skills.

Demonstrate initiative and flexibility together with good attention to detail

You must be able to deal with sensitive information and interact with patients to deal with their enquiries.
