Gloucestershire Health and Care is seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join the team as Executive Business Assistant to provide proactive, trusted and highly confidential support to our Chief Executive across the range of their responsibilities.
You will coordinate business activities, manage high level meetings and events, handle complex correspondence, prepare briefings and analysis, and undertake projects and research to ensure the Chief Executive's priorities are delivered effectively. The role requires a personable, professional candidate who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels, whilst holding overall responsibility for the running of the CEO's office.
You will bring intelligent analysis to situations and issues, excellent writing skills and enjoy the challenge of dealing with multiple conflicting priorities in limited time. In return, you will gain a unique insight into a broad range of operational, strategic and policy issues and work within a friendly and ambitious team.

Main duties of the job
The Executive Business Assistant will support the Chief Executive as they lead the Trust, which covers mental health, physical health and learning difficulties across Gloucestershire, with a workforce in excess of 5,000.The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a calm, positive and flexible approach to their work and will be an enthusiastic, hard-working team player.
The role requires someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is self-motivated to manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
