Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to lead in service development of our Mental Health First Point of Contact Centre that incorporates the NHS 111 Mental Health Option and work closely with our system partners SWASFT in expanding the Mental Health Response Vehicle across the county.
You will be closely supported in your role by the Mental Health Urgent Care Leadership Team who will also ensure your personal and leadership development.
Your portfolio of services will include the Mental Health First Point of Contact Centre and a team of Band 7 MH Clinicians that staff the Mental Health Response Vehicle jointly operated with South West Ambulance Services Foundation Trust,

Lead in the service development and delivery of a 24/7 Countywide Mental Health First Point of Contact Centre (FPCC) service providing a public facing Mental Health Crisis Line accessed via an 0800 number or NHS 111 MH IVR Option.
Ensure the FPCC provides the key functions, required key performance indicators and deliverables of an all age Urgent Mental Health Telephone Triage services as identified by NHSE via current 0800 and NHS 111 MH IVR option.
Alongside system partners SWASFT lead in the development and delivery of the countywide Mental Health Rapid Response Vehicle (MHRRV) with operational responsibility for SMHP Practitioners working across the MHRRV and FPCC
Ensure the service effectively gathers, collates and processes appropriate data to measure and report on compliance with locally and nationally identified key performance indicators.
To collaborate with partner agencies, key stakeholders and internal GHC services in developing and maintaining innovative, robust care pathways that provide agreed and effective response to people of Gloucestershire in Mental Health Crises.
Maintain best practice knowledge and clinical skills base for the provision of an Urgent Response MH Telephone service and MHRRV and actively ensure its application to service delivery.
