Bank Out of Hours Dentist

Job summary

We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, reliable dentists to join our friendly and supportive team, to provide out of hours urgent dental care for the population of Gloucestershire.

This care is provided at Springbank Dental Clinic, based at Springbank Resource Centre, Cheltenham.

There is free onsite parking.

Applicants should have experience of working within NHS Primary Dental Service and have a NHS England provider number.

It is the responsibility of individual dentists to hold current GDC registration with a current licence to practice with no conditions or restrictions.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to provide emergency and urgent care identified through dental direct triage process, as defined by Band 1 urgent treatment NHS guidance.

This may under exceptional circumstances need to be beyond the end of the services 'normal operating session', where no other clinical alternative is possible to ensure the safety of the patient.
