We deliver a wide range of services in the homes and 50+ community sites across Gloucestershire. Main duties of the job
As an experienced HR and OD practitioner you will have the ability, skills and experience to deliver innovative best practice aligned to our dynamic and often fast changing needs. You will rapidly build great relationships, credibility and a local knowledge. Passionate about values and civility, you will exemplify authentic, kind and compassionate leadership.
This roles provides a broad mix of operational and strategic HR and OD, with exposure to Executives, partners in the local Integrated Care System and regional meetings. Deputising for the Director, you will lead the operational HR, recruitment and retention, medical staffing and volunteering functions, ensuring these best serve our local needs. Working closely with our trades unions, you will have a passion for partnership working and just culture. You will also work closely with the Associate Director of Learning & OD to deliver our ambitious leadership development, engagement, education and equalities agenda.
Bringing energy, insight and a focus for inclusion and reducing inequalities, you will have responsibility for developing and driving a high-performance HR & OD service culture whilst also instigating a range of "great place to work" initiatives. Able to assimilate the role rapidly, you will be highly driven, goal and action orientated, have a talent for inspiring and motivating teams, with a track-record of delivery.
