A varied and interesting role providing Practice and Professional Education Administrative support. The post will report to, andprovide a range of Personal Administrative and administration support activities the Head of Practice Education and Widening Access.
The Head of Practice Education and Widening Access has leadership responsibilities for three teams within Learning and Development: Practice Education, Professional Development and Clinical Skills, Apprenticeships and Widening Access. In addition the post holder oversees Continuing Professional Development, service Training Needs and any associated (internal and external) funding and study leave applications.
There will be a specific responsibility for arranging, managing, monitoring and completing all financial transactions in the Integra Financial System as well as diary management and arranging meetings, agenda compilation and minute taking, and preparation of documents.
Main duties of the job
- Provide Personal Assistant (PA) services to the Head of Practice Education and Widening Access
- Be an Integra Financial System user taking responsibility for the all financial transactions for the budgets held by the Head of Practice Education and Widening Access
- Organise and manage a wide range of administration functions and activities to facilitate the effective running of the Practice Education, Professional Development & Clinical Skills and Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Teams
- Ensuring a responsive service is maintained to support the effectiveness of the teams.
- Work on their own initiative using high levels of enterprise, analysis and judgement to problem solve issues as they arise, escalation them as and where required to the Head of Practice Education and Widening Access or the Team leads If required the post holder will also provide:
- Support the Learning and Development Administration Team.
- Reception services if required to cover absence
