This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse band 6 to come and join our multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be a senior member of the team working with service users in Cheltenham and the North Cotswolds' who have a severe mental health condition.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to:
- Provide assessment and implementation of evidence-based interventions for service users who are experiencing common, acute mental health and longer-term recovery needs
- Optimise the service users' ability to remain in the community and / or be cared for in the least restrictive environment in line with the principles of recovery and social inclusion and the 10 essential capabilities
About us
The Cheltenham and North Cotswolds Recovery Team provides community based mental health care for people with severe and enduring mental illness. There is a strong focus on the promotion of recovery, social care and personalised care planning. The service runs Monday- Friday 9am-5pm.
