Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Home First service, supporting safe, timely discharge and recovery at home. This autonomous role involves highly specialist assessment and intervention for people with complex needs in their own environment, working closely with acute, community and social care partners. You will use advanced clinical reasoning to promote independence, reduce avoidable hospital stays and support system flow, while providing clinical leadership, contributing to service development and supporting the supervision and development of colleagues within an integrated multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established and forward-thinking Home First service with a strong focus on person-centred, strengths-based care. You will work within a supportive MDT that values clinical expertise, collaboration and innovation, with opportunities to influence service development, develop leadership skills and make a tangible impact on patient outcomes and system flow. We are committed to staff development, wellbeing and flexible working, and offer a rewarding role where your expertise genuinely makes a difference.
