Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join the corporate team to lead in the development and delivery of our falls prevention strategy. The role suites someone able to support ongoing management in patient falls, identify and further the implementation of medium and long-term strategies to reduce falls, undertake education and training of staff, audit, and analysis of falls data.
The Falls Prevention Lead will deliver training and education and service improvements in this area as a major job responsibility. The post holder will be responsible for establishing high quality healthcare practice, through the provision of strong leadership, providing direction to staff across the Trust and the provision of the identification, monitoring and mitigation of risks of falls. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer the post holder will apply Quality Improvement methodology to support specific Trust-wide projects with a clear focus on falls prevention.
