Job summary
This is a new role to develop an apprentice role as a cardiac physiologist in the cardiac investigations department. This post is integral to enable the delivery of safe, high quality Cardiac investigations across the trust, in aninpatient and outpatient setting including our new Community Diagnostic Centres. To provide highly specialist assessment, treatment and management of avaried caseload of patients, conditions and procedures. Working in partnership with ward staff, angio suite nurses and consultants within cardiology and across the trust. The post holder will use their clinical expertise and experience to promote good practice throughout the team. To participate in a wide variety of tasks from basic diagnostic investigations to highly complex invasive therapeutic procedures.
