Job summary
Due to business critical and operational needs of the division an exciting opportunity has arisen for one full time permanent and one full time secondment (10 months) Divisional Pathway/Data Coordinator posts at Band 5 level to join the Medicine Division Operational Team.
The successful candidates will need to be highly motivated, confident with a high level of customer service skills as the post holder will be dealing with a wide range of senior staff and patients face to face and over the telephone.
The post holders will be responsible for managing and maintaining the division's access data ensuring that the division's specialties and the division as a whole meets local and national patient access standards in line with national referral targets for routine and cancer activity.
The post holders will need to have a full understanding of referral to treatment (RTT) rules and Cancer Waiting Times pathways and their application within treatment pathways and the electronic patient record.
You will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working closely with the divisional team as this post will be responsible for various aspects of specialty projects and will also deputise for the service delivery coordinators.
