Job summary

The post holder will support the management and co-ordination of clinical risk and Governance across maternity, ensuring the effective application of the Trust's Patient Safety Incident Response Plan within the Maternity service. The post holder will work closely with all members of the maternity and neonatal service team, communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the organisation and play a key role in leadership, development and transformation to support the delivery of a high-quality service.

Main duties of the job

Act as an ambassador for patient safety and be a positive role model for Maternity staff.

Work in collaboration with the maternity and divisional patient safety teams to ensure compliance with the maternity incentive scheme, shared learning from patient safety events across the division, trust and LMNS and lead on engaging those involved in patient safety events to be part of the learning process.
