KPO administrator

Job summary
If you are interested in putting patients first and working with staff across our organisation to apply our improvement methodology (SASH+) this is an exciting opportunity that you can't afford to miss.
We are one of just five Trusts in England who were part of 6 year partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute in Seattle, USA, to develop and apply a new approach to putting lean improvement methods into action in the NHS to improve both the outcome and experience for patients and the working environment and involvement for our people. We have extended our partnership with VMI for an additional 4 years.
This is an opportunity to be part of a small KPO team who are responsible for leading the improvement work and building lean capacity and capability across the organisation through training, education, coaching and support. We have also secured a contract to help other NHS organisations develop their own continuous improvement offer over the next 3 years and this role will specifically be supporting the administration of this work.
Main duties of the job
Ideal candidates will:-
- Be keen to learn and apply lean methodologies in their own roles
- Be able to liaise with staff from across the organisation providing support and administration to access a range of learning and education opportunities
- Have an attention for detail in the production of reports, training material and co-ordination of events
- Recognise that success of the team is a greater result than personal achievements
- Go the extra mile to support the improvement of services that are focussed on the patient
