Job summary
Are you an experienced, registered pharmacy technician looking for a new and diverse challenge?
Are you interested in a leadership role that would take you to new heights overseeing the trusts dispensary/patient services?
Are you passionate about service improvement and making positive change, to help protect the NHS and overcome the challenges for the future?
If so, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic and forward-thinking individual to lead, manage and be responsible for the inpatient services through our dispensary. You must be highly motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively co-ordinate and manage a team of pharmacy assistants and technicians. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary ensuring appropriate technical and support staff mix and the provision of an efficient inpatient dispensing service.
The dispensary can be a very busy environment and you will need to be able to monitor the situation and make informed decisions under pressure to ensure all tasks are completed following standard operating procedures in a safe and timely manner.
